President’s report September 2026
We are gradually heading for the festive season and hopefully we will have a positive ending in terms of being able to do more things. Being aware of our current economic climate and the limitations that it brings is important.
I encourage members to consider getting involved in some way next year. This club depends on people volunteering their time and skills to help it run successfully. We have many talented members, so please think about how you could contribute.
I hope everyone has come through the winter months in good health and are looking forward to summer. I am also looking forward to our Christmas function in November.

Recent club activities report
Activities report Sept 2026
It has not been a very active month. But we have had a few activities. We had a coffee morning at the RSA which was well attended with 25 people attending. Then a film afternoon was held at the WCC.A fun afternoon with Benny Hill taking center stage. These are great afternoons but all we need is to have more people attending to improve these afternoons.
I feel like we have to engage with different ways of doing things. This economic situation has made us think of alternative methods of doing things. Any suggestions are most welcome.
Our next activity is related to food. Hope everybody can join in and enjoy the company of others.
